How does coaching work, and what can I expect from the process?
During the first session, we work together to define a clear goal that becomes the basis for the rest of our sessions. Since 95% of our behaviour come from the deep and unconscious mind, during the next sessions we start to discover the hidden beliefs or fears around achieving the goal and removing the blocks around it. Mostly the work is about becoming aware of the unconscious fears or beliefs, and understanding their origin so that they can be integrated instead of keeping them in the unconscious mind limiting our behaviour. The next step is to start to embody the experience that you would want to have instead, and to use at-home practices for it to become a new way of being. The coaching container will be adapted to this particular exploration for each of my clients so that it fits where they are at the moment and what they feel would be achievable during the 10 or 18 sessions that we will be working together. The process can be very healing and empowering. Check out the coaching method page to keep reading about this powerful methodology.

Do I need to have a clear goal in mind before working with you?
Absolutely not, we will be using the Discovery Call, and the first session to put together a goal for you. We will be workshopping it together so that we land on something that feels a bit scary (but in the best possible way), energising, attainable and exciting. I'm happy to hop on a free 1-hour Discovery Call to discuss how I could best support you.

What does "embodiment" mean in the context of sexuality and coaching?
The embodiment refers to experiencing with the body, and not only the mind. Because we cannot access the unconscious mind through speech, I guide my clients to listen through their body by using a plethora of different tools such as movement, breathwork, visualisations, sensations and emotions to connect to the unconscious fears or beliefs that can be holding them back from experiencing boundless natural sexual pleasure.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Traditional talking therapy is about discovering the conscious mind. The life coaching that I offer goes beyond the mind to experiencing sensations through the body since I believe that, much like in Yoga, the mind and the body are connected. Also, traditionally therapy is a longer commitment, where as the coaching that I offer is designed as 10 or 18 session packages where we work on a specific future oriented goal or desire. Finally, if we compare psychotherapy and coaching in an analogy where a coach is like an athletic trainer, in this scenario, a psychotherapist is more like a medical doctor specialising in sports medicine. So both of these professionals work with athletes, they draw from a shared body of knowledge, but the trainer works under the assumption that the athlete is essentially sound in their body and is really focusing on improving their fitness and their performance. Where as the doctor is addressing the injuries, and the athletic trainer will refer the athlete to the doctor if there is a reason to believe that the athlete has an injury. You can check out the coaching methodology page for more info on how I work, and what tools I use.

What is the difference between a Sex Theraphist and a Sex Coach?
Sex Therapists are licensed mental health professionals with an extensive trauma training. Sex Coaches, on the other hand, are trauma-informed, have a certification, and work more with their client's future desires and goals. Have a look at the coaching method page to keep reading about the method that I use. The coaching package page, on the other hand, will tell you what coaching packages I offer, what is included in the life coaching package, and what themes the sessions have.

I'm not sure if coaching will work for me. How can I overcome my fear that it won’t help?
I would like to start by saying that any fear or doubt is more than welcome and celebrated here. The three aspects that greatly support the effectiveness of my coaching are coaching method, self-responsability and the coaching container:
1) The coaching method that I use is designed to be transformative and well worth the investment since we work from the inside out. Instead of pushing you towards your goal, we discover what is holding you back, and integrate it through acceptance and self-love. The change of behaviour comes from understanding what part of you is ready for the change and what part of you is resisting the change. The change is possible without fighting the resistance but through getting curious to understand what is the origin of it and what role it is playing in your life. This understanding supports acceptance, self-love and integration.
2) The second aspect, self-responsability, invites you to a honest self-discovery through courageously facing your fears, to showing up for yourself and to being dedicated to this work, both during the sessions and in between the sessions. You can keep reading here about who is this life coaching for.
3) The third aspect is the co-creative coaching container. My deep desire is to offer a container, where each client is met where they are at the moment. Everything I suggest is an invitation. I support my clients to step into their sovereignty and power by following and speaking out their desires and needs. My goal is to show up for my clients to offer them safety, accountability and support every step of the way.

What can I do between coaching sessions to continue making progress?
The coaching packages include custom-made at-home practices that are designed for you to maintain momentum and bring the learnings from the coaching sessions to your daily life. I'm also offering accountability to support you to keep showing up and doing the practices. All this is planned together so that it fits to your needs and current situation. Click here to read what all is included in the coaching packages.

How much time will the at-home practices take?
I generally assign 1-3 practices each week. The practices are something that we plan together so that they are an optimal support for you. The practices can take between 5-30 minutes, depending on the practice. On average my clients repeat the practices 3-5 times a week. In general, the more practices you do, the more benefits and transformation you will experience. Click here to read to whom are my coaching packages designed for.

How can I share my desires with my partner, especially if I’m not fully sure what they are myself?
It is very common to find it difficult to identify and express our desires. It is often because there are hidden fears in your deep mind that believe that it is not safe to do so. Essentially, it is a very intelligent protective mechanism that developed at some point in your life and at the time it made perfect sense. What we will be doing during our coaching sessions is getting curious and attending to that part of you to see what it is protecting, how is that serving you today, and to see what would be a best way to relate to that part of you moving forward. Through this gentle integration process it will become easy for you to share and discover your desires. Click here to read more about my life coaching method.

What are some strategies for feeling seen, heard, respected, and understood in my relationship?
This is a great question and often comes up when my clients want to discuss improving communication and resolving possible power struggles within relationships. One of the corner stones of communication is to gain inner clarity. What this could look like is you journaling to answer these three questions: "What makes me feel seen, heard, respected and understood?" and "When in my life (from early childhood to adulthood) have I felt that this need was not met?" and "Where in my life are these needs already been met (with possible partner(s), my caregivers, my friends, at work etc.)?" After you have gained some inner clarity, I would like to invite you to offer yourself compassion and acceptance. In our coaching sessions, we would be taking the next step where I would invite you to use the tools of roleplay and visualisation to share your needs with a fictitious visual representation of your partner. This will help to liberate some stagnant energy, give you more clarity, and confidence to share your needs with your actual parter in real life. Read more about what tools I will be using during my sessions.

How can I increase intimacy and pleasure in my relationship?
That is such an amazing question and one that many people have. There is a simple and a more complex answer to that. In a more simple way, in my experience, intimacy and pleasure can both be found in the same place which is slowing down and being fully present in a moment. And a slightly more complex reply is that, as long as it feels safe enough, we can increase intimacy and pleasure by staying in the present moment sensory awareness, and welcoming and being open to whatever comes to the surface. What I mean by that, is being fully present to the full sensory experience and naming what are you noticing. With yourself, you can move slowly with self-touch and speak out loud whatever you notice. I have put together this guided 5-minute Pleasure Activation Meditation exactly for this purpose. The same works with a partner where you can invite them to touch you slowly and gently and you share with them what are you noticing in your body and your mind. Here the key is to direct their touch to a place where you would like to receive touch, and not necessarily to where they would like to touch you. This will help you cultivate deeper connection and more fulfilling intimate experience. During our coaching sessions, I'm always looking to support my clients to transform from the inside out. This means getting curious about what is it about intimacy and pleasure that does not feel completely safe. This is a multifaceted exploration that gives my clients an in-depth understanding what they would like to achieve, what is standing in their way, and supporting them in moving towards more pleasure and intimacy filled life. What can I do to alleviate pain, numbness or discomfort during sex, and experience more pleasure?
I would like to start by saying that while the VITA™ coaching method is trauma-informed, I am not a psychotherapist or a doctor and I do not diagnose, treat, or heal physical or mental health issues. Therefore, nothing I say should be taken as medical or psychological guidance. You can read more about this in my Coaching Disclaimer and Waver. That being said, I'm happy to support you within my scope of practice and help you to uncover how would you want to feel instead and to discover what is currently holding you back. Often there are unconscious blocks such as hidden fears, beliefs, and safety strategies, for instance, shame, guilt, past trauma, self-doubt and body insecurities that can show up as tension, pain and discomfort in the body. Meeting those unconscious blocks in a conscious and accepting way can help you integrate them and to help you reconnect with your deep natural pleasure. I would like to invite you to read more about my method and my tools here.

How can I overcome feelings of shame and embarrassment related to my body and sexual desires?
First of all, I would like to normalise how many women experience shame and embarrassment when it comes to their bodies and sexual desires. This is often due to societal expectations that lead to women and feminine beings experiencing body image issues and the emotional barriers to sexual satisfaction. The first step is to become aware that this is happening and to find acceptance within ourselves. Instead of judging ourselves for the shame and embarrassment, I invite my clients to become curious where is the shame and embarrassment coming from, and what purpose have they served so far. The next step is to discover how would they want to relate to their bodies and their sexual desires moving forward, to see what part of them already supports that, and what are some of the obstacles that are holding them back. The coaching container will be adapted to this particular exploration for each of my clients so that it fits where they are at the moment and what they feel would be achievable during the 10 or 18 coaching sessions that we will be working together. You can read more about my methodology here.
